Shell Woman Dress - Long - This gorgeous hand-dyed dress is wonderful for getting dressed in just one piece. The straps can be open or crossed at the front - see photos. The bust area is double lined giving you support without having to wear a bra, if that's your preference. Don't leave the house without wearing a bra? A lot of women ask how to do that with this piece. I like to find a bra with attractive complimenting or contrasting straps. Let your straps show and add to your outfit. Strapless bras are also wonderful if you are not a strappy type.

I have left older pictures up which show different body types, but some colours are no longer available 


Fit: You want this dress to be fitted on top in order to get smooth lines and so that the fabric will lay with your skin. It is a more narrow fitting dress however it is not super tight. Some people get this confused with the Beltane Dress. Please see below.


Fabric: Bamboo/Organic Cotton/Spandex

 

Wash: Wash Cold. I would not suggest hanging it to dry by the straps. Instead, hang it upside down, clip hanger to the top of the dress or lay flat to preserve elastics. 

FAQ: What is the difference between the Beltane and the Shell Woman? The Beltane is akin to an  A-line fit with a very full skirt which comes to about mid shin in length. It is cut in two pieces with a seam at the upper waist. The Shell Woman Dress is just one piece, more narrow in fit and is full length.
